I always thought the LDS scene at the U was really good.
I spent a lot of time at the Institute and there are thousands of students who did the same who do care about LDS values. Man Up and enjoy the cheaper rent!
Don't be like me though. After I graduated from the U, I moved to Provo to be closer to my twin brother where my BYU fandom was solidified. Treat the U like the mission field.
