You get to choose who you are with. If that person's actions make you miserable and they show no interest in changing or making things better, you don't have to suffer for the rest of your life. It doesn't matter if you love them (or more likely, you once loved them and are now clinging desperately to that memory), get the heck out for your own good and if that's not reason enough, get out for the good of your kids.
