a big deal but because he seems to have actively hindered everything along the way including now the news he destroyed his phone. It reeks to me of just thinking he is bigger thanthe game or that he has such much money that he can afford to find a technicality to get away with something that it certainly appears to be he did. Beyond that, this aggravates me:
"Brady is expected to argue: The ball-deflation policy was incorrectly applied to him, as the rules were meant for club personnel and not players." Really? Ball inflation or deflation rules doesnt apply to the people who would actually want them changed? Just reeks of why so many people dislike lawyers.

All of it could have gone away quickly and cleanly right at the very beginning if Brady would have fessed up at the beginning and would have probably gotten a 10K or 20K fine and told not to do it again.
