i grew up an ASU fan...i have actually already switched allegiances once. when BYU came to Tempe i wore a gold "mormon's for devils" shirts. i can easily switch back. my motivation for switching would be investing (time money, etc) into a program that at least "has a shot".

has ASU done much? nope. rose bowl when i was about 10 with jake the snake. a few solid years here and there. watched a good friend todd heap tear it up there. but they are in P5, in 2nd best division in CFB and have a shot at rose bowl every year. if we get left out to dry again RE P5, we will be more like NDSU in a few years than UU and it won't be fun anymore.

i'll always have good feelings toward BYU and always root for them. but when the BYU/SJSU game is on at the same time the ASU/USC game is on...you know which one i'll be watching.
