You clearly outted yourself as being closer to the Ute staff than BYU's staff. BYU wants Yo for Yo. One of his coaches is a close friend of mine. The kid is VERY coachable. I have watched him dozens of times interact with his coach during intense competitive moments. Is Yoeli a fierce competitor? ABsolutely. Does he bark at a ref over a bad call now and then? Yes. Does he get nasty against dirty competitors? Absolutely. Does he listen when his coach instructs and reproves? Absolutely. Mika has a very similar disposition. TJ has a very similar disposition. Can't wait to see them on the floor together.
I find it offensive that a coaching staff recruit a kid as bait to try to get another kid as you suggest Utah did. I know it happens but it is disingenuous and abusive of hallowed coaching trust, in my opinion.
