I'll comment here as a non-donor
The way I read this, essentially, to get "donor status" now costs $14.95 and I get the features of premium membership for 3 months.
It's worth the extra $5 to me to miss the ads for most of Football season (I don't post often other than that).
I don't care about any of the rest of it, but it is an extra $5 for El Jefe.
There's no way I'd pay $50 a year. But I imagine some of the regulars might.
And if I really find I like not having the adds, I may re-up for 3 months during the height of Football season each year.
I view the new program as an upgrade and a better deal for me... assuming I understand it correctly.
