other parts of the U.S., there are still shows scheduled some with Motorhead and Saxon together, and some separate. (Motorhead will be accompanied by Anthrax in the latter part of the tour, and Saxon will do some shows without a big-name opening band (as far as has been announced) and a few shows with Armored Saint opening (which should be a good show).
Of course, further Motorhead shows on the tour are contingent on Lemmy's health. Only four songs in SLC, and Lemmy hasn't looked good in other shows on this tour. To his credit, he has been giving top-notch performances during the songs, and the four tonight were certainly up to Motorhead standards. He's almost 70, he suffered a hematoma a couple of years ago, he's got an implantable cardioverter-defibrillator to zap his heart if his heartbeat gets wacky, he's got Type-2 diabetes, and he's got who knows how many ailments brought on by a lifetime of hard living, hard touring, and hard partying. He might not be immortal after all.
