Couple things:
One, I don't think you know me. That's a bold (and somewhat flattering, I confess) judgment you're making, on the basis of...well, I'm not sure what. My grammar? I majored in Classics. What would you think of my income possibilities, in light of that? Not, of course, that it's any of your business.

Two, DI sends over 50% of the clothing it receives in donations to foreign countries, because they can't sell the clothes. If they sold more clothes, they could do more hiring, more counseling, and provide more help to people. NOT buying things at DI doesn't help anyone at all.

Three, I can comfortably state that my purchase constituted a gain for the store, a gain for my family, and had zero net impact on the amount of clothing available at the store--the one, single store--for others to purchase. It is absolutely impossible to tell that I was ever there. If you're short of the next shirt, I'm pretty sure you'll be able to find one. I saw some Ute gear there, in the discount pile.

They're open until 9 tonight.
