I think you could probably list the number of tackles Deon Sanders had on one hand for his career. A CB does not have to be a physical head hunter. They don't need to come into a pile to finish up a teammate's tackle and perhaps tear up a shoulder or knee. There ARE certain instances where they do have to make a play; jet sweep, outside stretch, screen and always setting the edge, no matter what. Davis still is learning the position and will get better in all phases with reps. To flatly say that he is not an "NFL guy" is just a wee bit over the top.
