but I've concluded that I read it because Krakauer is a fantastic story teller and not because he is impartial. I agree that Boukreev's, Weather's, and especially Viestur's books seemed more grounded and less accusatory (Boukreev spent a lot of time in his book defending his character after Krakauer slaughtered it, which was unfortunate). Of them all, I believe Viestur the most because he is so well respected in the mountaineering community.
