Yesterday ours exploded
A stray dog was running amok.
We get home from vacation.
Our rabbit is missing.
Rabbit is reported dead.
Stray dog ate rabbit (or at least the bottom half, mercifully leaving the top half for me to bury in a closed casket ceremony for my 3 kids)
Neighbors, in anger, call animal control.
New family is the owner of the stray dog.
Stray dog gets taken away in front of the new family's 5 kids.
Drama ongoing.
