I shoot thousands of rounds of 5.56 and 9mm each year. Maybe only 200 rounds of 12ga each year now.

Also, it depends on the loads too. 50 rounds will bruise many people with birdshot, but 50 rounds of slugs/buckshot will bruise just about anyone.

Shooting clays is a great time and I really enjoy it so I should make more time for that. However, I hardly ever go out with friends or family and one of us shoots more than 50 rounds of 12ga each...
