There is one thing worse: 7-seat lifted mid-size sedans called "crossovers".
They really are the worse.
At least a real SUV has purpose: Towing/capacity/off road ability.
At least a real minivan has a purpose: People hauling and capacity with the best possible MPG and ergonomics.
Crossovers? An entire vehicle lineup designed for those who "hate minivans" and that's it. Mediocre MPG, poor capacity, horrible seating comfort. Minimal to non-existant off-roadability, pathetic towing. What do they do "good" other than "not be a minivan"?
