I remember as a kid visiting Utah in the 80s that the Utah accent was very
recognizable. I really don't notice it much anymore in Salt Lake County. I do notice it in rural areas and parts of Utah County.

"Lay'uhn" does not exist. LAYtON with a soft T absolutly does though.
