And therein is the caveat to your analysis, LBSU's guards were quicker than most that we will play this year, while their front court was significantly weaker than what we'll likely face.

Knowing this, we should have had a game plan to limit turnovers and push the ball low in order to win. I think Rose was willing to risk losing by not customizing the game plan--all in the name of watching guys play our base offense and trying to develop chemistry.
