I went through a number of wifi routers at my house but all of them seemed
to have trouble once several devices were connected. Devices would randomly drop or not connect again after coming out of hibernate. We have several phones, tablets, laptops, consoles, etc.. that can be streaming video at the same time.

I finally decided to try out a slower small business class access point:
http://www.amazon.com/Xclaim-Single-Band-802-11n-Indoor-300Mbps/dp/B00OZ9IP6I/

They have a faster version here:
http://www.amazon.com/Xclaim-Dual-Band-802-11ac-Indoor-1-167Gbps/dp/B00Q5PG3KA/

Very easy to setup and manage, and I haven't had any connectivity problems at all no matter how many devices are connected and streaming.

I have heard really good things about Ubiquity APs as well, and I will likely never go back to consumer wifi routers again.
