In past years--especially last year and the year Davies got suspended--Rose's challenge has been to somehow take a roster with glaring deficiencies (due to injury, suspension, or recruits not panning out) and cobble together a winning team. And he has worked miracles doing that.
Now he has more talented depth than he ever has, so he has to figure out how to put together a winning team when he has too many good players. His success finding winning combinations in the past leaves me confident he will do it again, but it has a different feel than other years. (And this will be a recurring problem for at least the next several years.)
Like you, I hope he figures it out quickly, and I think when he does we will be very good.
