You guys beat a "top 20" team early on every couple of years and start hot, but then the cycle begins...
1) beat a big team or 2 early
2) start out 3, or 4-0
3) lose too often to in-state rivals (see faceless opponent, no emotion allowed)
4) find out later in season that early ranked teams you beat, are merely average by seasons end.
I'm not hear to argue, only to inquire why so many are content with this pattern
