better? There was a lot of talk last year about how at Wisky they actually do have some academic standards (thats kind of a subtle dig at the Pac isn't it?) and that was preventing Anderson from getting some athletes to compete at the highest level there. He wont have the same restrictions at OSU, so I interpret that to mean he will have a chance to compete at a higher level. So he goes from going to the BIG10 champ game to going 2-10. Now I understand that it may take time to build, but is OSU ever going to be in a position better than he had at Wisky?
I just don't see it, USC is USC, Oregon will be good for a long time, as will Stanford, UW just got Petterson and should get better, UCLA will always get great talent, and don't look now, but Leach has WSU playing pretty good as well (with a true freshman QB). If you take the traditionally bad Pac programs.....WSU, Colorado, Utah (kind of) and OSU, you would have to say that OSU and Colorado are on the bottom of that list. (and this is a period where Az, UA and Cal are a bit down, what happens when they get decent again?).
I have to think Anderson left for less pressure and to be on the West coast and maybe the Alverez factor? It can't be just all about the ability to compete.
