Plan and simple they don't want to be compared to us or have anything to do with

us. They think that they are over this rivalry and that it is no longer a rivalry. They believe that since they are now in the PAC12 that just that fact alone makes them better than BYU. It totally kills them that the other bowls don't think they are as good as wazzu or USC or UCLA.
