on CB. I know there's no way to say that w/o sounding like I'm from the jerk store, but surprises me everytime.
Someone goes elsewhere or responds openly & honestly, and we go after em' more than an enemy or rival would. But if they blow sunshine or obligatory "mic in yer face" canned compliment, then they're classy, and stand up guys.
I'll take genuine & honest anyday. Blowin sunshine is the norm, but I don't think someone who speaks real feelings should illicit the weeping and wailing it does. Just because it's not sugar coated sunshine up my skirt. (I'm Scottish)
Because society is so pc and phony, when someone speaks openly, people freak out. Whether race, politics, and much less risky territory, genuine opinions, however benign, great offense is somehow taken from just about anything.
