Kind of underscores my point that the board gets a little too impressed with a few steals from a guy who has been weak defending on the perimeter and one on one.
Defense is about actually keeping the other dudes from scoring, not just collecting a couple token steals that too often, come at the expense of actually being fundamentally effective.
Also, it isn't like he's getting beaten down low by post players. The opposition's guards can get to the hoop consistently vs. Emery, and it's a problem.
