Will I be able to pay off the complete mortgage amount including the expected balloon payment in 15 years?
Probably not. Maybe... but probably not.
I'm anticipating that if I were to do this, I would have to refinance before the 15 years was up and hope, as Mister P points out, that interest rates are good at that time.
