They are BYU Alums, but I only applied to BYU. They were trying to teach me that for a small application fee I can have a "plan B" if things go south.

I figured that "plan B" would be work and then a mission, then I'd worry about it. At the time it didn't seem reasonable to apply to any other school until after I heard back from BYU.

Look back at it now, it was pretty stupid and I'm dang lucky I got in!
