We caught one last fall in Herriman
We put it in a box and brought it home for the whole family to see. We kept it about an hour and then let it go where we found it. I would have been in the same boat.

I'm actually surprised you saw one in the spring. They are nocturnal and you generally only come across them in the fall when they come out to mate.

By the way, they are supposedly gentle enough you could pick it up if you wanted. Not dangerous at all. I'll admit I wasn't quite brave enough for that though.
