VASTLY better than a cab. In fact when I get to a city that doesn't have Uber, like Houston, I'm seriously pissed. It also doesn't work well in Vegas because of the cab unions.

Salt Lake City is one of the worst cab cities in Ameria, imo. Getting Uber/lyft here has been phenomenal.

Cabs suck in SLC because you can't hail them. They are dirty. The drivers are rude. The cost is too high. Their CC machines are always "broken."

I will never, ever use a cab when uber/lyft are available.
