I served my mission there -
From Houston to Galveston I saw a ton of Burnt Orange, some A&M, lots of astros, lots of rockets, Texans.
.. and rarely University of Cougars. This was before A&M was in the SEC.. Id expect they have gained traction since then. I probably saw as much TCU as Houston Cougars sadly.
