with the day of the week we purchase things when there's at least a 1 in 7 chance that what we buy was probably produced on a Sunday regardless of the day of the week we happened to purchase it.

I wonder if with just in time manufacturing, there may be a lower chance of a soda being produced on the sabbath if it's purchased on the sabbath. Maybe the best way to preserve the sabbath for others is the buy a soda from a vending machine on the sabbath.
