You don't have to play man-0 coverage all the time. The coaches can employ any number of combination coverages if they need to. You CAN play 0 in an all-out blitz but if need be, you can play a combination; zone-- front side and man-- backside. As long as they coach to their player's strengths, the DB's will be fine.
