If you're God, are you going to allow talented people who can help build your church to miss church regularly for
sporting events? Obviously not.
You need as many talented, energetic, interesting, capable, full-of-life people in church as you can get. Allowing so many "go getters" to miss Sunday meetings is certain to hurt the growth of your church.
God needs us in church.
