Surprisingly, two years ago BYU was #1 in NCAA in FTs made and #5 in percentage at 76.8%.
Funny how on some matters, people inside a program have a different perspective towards the same facts from people outside the program.

Coaches pull their hair out over FT percentage, yet advanced stats tell us there is little correlation to winning basketball. FT attempts volume matter a lot, OTBE

Coaches will often refer to their team as young and inexperienced, while opposing coaches will tend to call the opposing team more mature. (BYU has a special case here, of course).

Everyone is talking their book…..where you stand depends on where you sit….
