We would actually know how good our team is though
on a year-in year-out basis.
As it currently stands we usually have a couple of good games early where our team is trying to figure it out and then 4 games of note during the regular season. It is often hard to tell based on those 6 games whether our team is actually better or not. Just not enough reference points.
