The best teams deserve a shot, period. No stupid conference-champion rule, that makes only 8-9 games important (+1 with CCG), and opens the door for an 8-5 team to get in the playoffs... NO NO NO

If you let in the 2 best G5 teams, over a 2nd B1G/SEC or whomever, the playoffs lose ALL relevancy. Nobody (but G5 fans) wants to see a G5 team in the playoffs. What good does it do?

The system is already set up for a G5 to succeed, they just need to win. Who was the last G5 that honestly deserved a shot at the NCG? Houston? eh... UCF? maybe... You have to go back to 2011 and Boise State who was 11-1 with a 1 point loss to TCU to find a legit contender.

You're going to give a shot to a G5 champion who is almost assuredly a 1 loss team with maybe 1-2 marquee wins? They simply don't deserve it.
