But since the breakdown came right after the machine "being fixed" by a repairman, we just called him back up and scheduled him to re-evaluate his work. Hopefully, this is something that isn't going to cause too much drama, but given that the drum had stopped rotating and the machine was actually smoking (we initially thought we had a dryer fire), I am not too optimistic and if the issue turns out to be a problem he created with his initial fix, I doubt he is going to tell us it was his fault. We're already about $250 into this used washer.
