BYU Idaho is a brand new university with a lot of growing pains. They still are offering votech type of programs and degrees. The university of Idaho has been around for well over a hundred years and is the land grant university for the state of Idaho.It is a true research school. They have research and extension stations throughout the state. They are a huge engineering school in addition to having a law school and many other graduate degrees.
