My iphone stopped working for a bit today because it said my iphone was too hot. FYI, I had just driven 15 mins in the car in 100 degree temps, with no air conditioning.

Only stopped charging. It did not stop working altogether.

Yes. Generally happens when I am out in the sun and I put my phone down.
