Nowadays if a car breaks down in the middle of the freeway it quickly becomes a nightmare for everyone because people are selfish, curious, etc.
Autonomous vehicles would be able to communicate with each other and execute the most efficient way to get around the problem. So when a problem occurs it will still be better with autonomous vehicles than human operated vehicles.
