But if you really are worried about tourism, taking Americans off of a flight and not allowing them to return home for something so trivial makes me not want to get anywhere near that country. The fact that Lochte lied about something that I'm sure happens there doesn't make me feel like it is a safer place. The fact that Brazil would hold Americans captive just to prove a point scares me a lot. Sure Brazil shouldn't have been put in the situation in this case, but they have gone far overboard to a point of their own hindrance.
