There are hundreds of predominantly white poor/uneducated communities throughout America. They are plagued with the exact same issues of poor black communities.
- low tax base for education and social programs
- teenage pregnancy
- 1 parent families
- drugs
- alcoholism
- lack of opportunities
Among others... If people wanna pretend oppression in 2016 is only directed at minorities it shows a tremendous amount of ignorance. Last month in my hometown a trailer park caught fire, took out 18 homes and all the possessions these poor white people had. I know several of them. Their parents were poor, their grandparents were poor and now they are.
Once people realize you attack "oppression" through education, skills, two parent homes, emphasis on family etc and not by government force then we'll finally see people in the struggle emerge from it.
