With all that THill has had to overcome in his career at BYU, it is difficult not to be rooting for him to shine.

BYU is full of kids that are easy to root for, goods kids that we would like to serve as role models to kids who look to sports figures as role models. Taysom has Steve Young talent, and Kenny McCormick injury luck.

I am hoping he succeeds, not just to establish his legacy in the BYU QB pantheon, but also to place himself as a role model, for kids who feel like quitting when things get tough, look at this guy, 3 season ending injuries, he could have given up on his sports dream and gone to a nice job, but no, this guy gets up after getting knocked down and stays positive, puts in long hours of rehab, and *hopefully* (knock on wood) he comes out on top at the end.

I still remember as a kid throwing the football with my brother and fighting over which of us got to be Gifford Neilson, or Mark Wilson. I would love nothing more than to see a legacy of kids fighting over being Taysom Hill, or Tanner Mangum, it is a good time to be a cougar fan.
