I had a horse that'd do this. Not always the hesitation, but jumping the
smallest things she felt the need to go as HIGH as she could. Ditches, deadfall, fence rails, it didn't matter.
I'd jump irrigation ditches out in the field and every one of them she'd be 2 feet off the ground. I stopped jumping stuff with her after a while because it'd heart my back.

Honestly... not laughing at all on this one... I would be going ballistic on that kid that ran by and bumped this kid...
