I was standing around with my buddies and would just laugh off the insults. A Tongan family (of a Ute Player) befriended me and soon others came over and talked to me like normal people.

One fairly drunk man offered me a beer and I declined and said a Diet Coke would be nice. He didn't have any but went around asking if anybody had one and brought it back to me.

It was an interesting experience.
