I think passionate fans are talking about Cougar Club dues and donations, season tickets, tickets to away games from BYU allotments, and other items that very much bank roll the BYU football team. In fact, I do not believe the BYU football team benefits from tithing in any way outside of the regular tuition subsidies that every student benefits from.

Also, as a statement on my personal position, I do donate to the BYU football team in all the above methods and I don't boo and I don't think booing improves anything. However, I understand the frustration of passionate fans that to support the team financially and I recognize their right to express their displeasure how they see fit.

I hope we will all be patient and let Kalani have the latitude he needs to correct things in his way - I know he's not happy with the offensive product on the field and he's in a position to do something about it.
