Most banks in my area replaced drive up windows with drive up ATM's. Fast food drive up ordering has been outsourced
to call centers in other states. When you pull up to Wendy's the person on the other end of the speaker is a call center employee who enters the order on the computer and ask you to pull up to the window to pay.

The outsourced service is excellent and the employee is receiving $9 an hour in another state. The call centers' "calls" are recorded, and customers think they are speaking to a person inside their location. The call centers handle calls for many locations but their screen shows the menu of the specific location of the driver who is ordering.
