1.)squally isn't bad. He seems fast but just needs to get a bit better looking for the holes. When he has been in, blocking hasn't been great. If he can learn to hang on to the ball, I'm excited for him.

2.) I hate all 2 point conversions. Maybe I'm an uneducated fan but when they went for two and got it, that wasn't fun. I was hoping for a timeout to set our defense.

3.) their QB looked amazing pretty much all night until we finally got some pressure on him in the 4th. Thank goodness because it could have been a much different ball game without that pressure. The fact butch was out was hurting us last night. He could have made a big difference.

4.) Jamaal is a beast. Seriously. He is amazing. He is a freaking train.

5.) tackeling was suspect. I think a lot was that out guys got juked at the last moment and had to make a grab at the player rather than tackeling them from the front.

6.) for those saying Taysom isn't a pocket passer, you should see Taysom throwing on the scramble. Designed QB roll outs aren't bad for him.

7.) kai is great. Always is in the right place at the right time. He is always on and playing hard.

8.) the way to beat byu is to take advantage of our new secondary. Seemed pretty unorganized at times with assignments and such. I think our guys will be good though. Lake showed some promise. They were playing conservatively as to stop the big plays. I don't know if our staff trusts the secondary quite yet.
