Yes, we lost to Utah again but it was the second game with completely new offensive and defensive schemes, and it takes a few games to really start playing effectively when you make those changes. OTOH, with this new coaching staff, we actually got the 6 turnovers, rather than be negative 6 turnovers -- we are already seeing improvements. The team has also been in every game, rather than previously it seemed we almost always lost one game big (Michigan, Boise State, Utah State, Oregon State, Utah, Florida State, etc.), looking completely outclassed.
I believe the progress is there, just that the things the new coaching staff is doing/teaching take time to get implemented.
