A professional never blames his tools. Boise St. excels in football with way
less than ideal facilities and 43,000 fans max. Gonzaga excels in basketball with the same handicaps (and more) than BYU faces.
Our problem is our coaches are, by and large, good but not great. It's not gym sizes in the conference or other facilities. TCU was kicking our butt in football with a dump of a stadium, few fans and no P5 conference.
Until we start winning conference championships we won't know what our limitations are. Being a perennial "also ran" probably turns off more basketball recruits than small arenas.
Let's win, then whine.
Thanks for sending a fair complaint, respectfully stated. I hope the Dawgs chew on everybody this year...until they meet and get eaten by the Cougars:-))
