Cast iron. Put the cast iron in your oven at 500 degrees
Let it fully come to temperature. Pull it out on the stove top at high. One minute in each side. Put it back in the oven with the steak on it. Put a slice of butter on top. Cook 2 min to finish. Check temperature to make sure it is med rare. You're welcome.
