This is probably wrong, but I was told it was a drug reference. The guy that

told me said it was a reference to the crackhead snorting coke with his one arm on the table and then leaning his head down for a snort.

Sounded logical, but I don't know. Reality is, most kids just do it for the fun of it. I compare it to using the word, "Word" in high school. Very few really knew what it meant, we just all said it for the kick of it.
