These are their main issues with BYU as an institution, and for the LDS church as an institution, but not necessarily with individuals of the LDS faith. I guess they figure, not illogically, that if an individual Mormon student or student-athlete wants to attend an institution like Stanford, then they must be open to being in that type of environment -- otherwise, they would attend a different kind of university.
